Key Facts

  • The FWBO Order Library was kept at Aryatara from Sangharakshita's departure in 1973 until moved to Padmaloka in 1980.
  • Ananda (one of the first twelve Order members) lived here from the late 1960s with Gotami and others.
  • Nagabodhi was chair of activities here from 1976 before joining the London Buddhist Centre opening team in 1978.
