- ◆ An annexe was enlarged and refurbished by Order members during Sangharakshita's 1996–97 tour ready for his return.
- ◆ He began writing the memoir covering August 1964–March 1965 here; had written 30,000 words by late spring.
- ◆ Situated near Cannon Hill Park and the Midlands Arts Centre; close to Stratford-upon-Avon and the RSC.
- ◆ He dictated the memoir 'Precious Teachers' here in 2006 while partially sighted.
